Monika Kryemadhi declared on Tuesday that the Inquiry Commission dragged the investigation into the incinerator affair instead of helping to solve it.
In an interview on Now with Erla Mehilli, the leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) said that political interventions delayed SPAK.
According to her, the commission did not serve to reveal the affair to the public, but actually, it helped Rama and Veliaj to push the responsibility away from themselves.
“Our request to be a part of the Inquiry Commission with veto rights was turned down by the Democratic Party of that time, respectively Basha and Tabaku”, said Kryemadhi.
The leader of the SMI emphasized that the justice system must pursue the affair to the end, in order to prove that SPAK and the justice reform are actually working.
Kryemadhi said that the SMI will leave the necessary space for SPAK to conduct its investigation and then make a move.
