State Police is constantly attacking the networks of drug distributors. The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, has announced that during the last 48 hours, police actions in Gjirokastër, Lezhë, Mirditë, Berat and Durrës have detained six people and seized numerous doses of cocaine and cannabis in entertainment venues frequented by youth.

Balla promised to people that the systematic attack on this phenomenon will have daily results.

“The public and every Albanian family expect that the State Police will continue to take more responsibility towards every young man and woman, who today do not know enough about the great risks to their health and families, while falling into the trap of criminals narcotics. Therefore, today the State Police has the security package in schools and the fight against the distribution of narcotics as the main priorities,” said Balla.
