We are not against any international institution and any international partners.”

This is what Prime Minister, Edi Rama, said in an interview for the “Now” on Euronews Albania, regarding the draft law on fiscal amnesty.

According to him, internationals have their reservations, but they have never expressed a full opposition.

“No one is against it; everyone has their reservations. These are two different things. We are discussing with them and when they sit at the table with us, they don’t say that we are against it and that’s it, they get up and leave. No, they sit at the table with us and say we have these reservations; they are matters of a technical nature.

We try to address those reservations. I have said it very clearly, we are ready to address all reservations, but we will never accept that Albania or Albanians are doing this because of crime,” he emphasized.
