Analyst Baton Haxhiu said that after the decision to expel Iranian diplomats, Albania has been included in the group of countries hated by Iran.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, he said that Albania has never been more at risk from terrorism than now.
“We have to be careful, the Iranians, from the point of view of pride, put their pride on a pedestal. After this last decision, we have entered the group of countries that Iran hates. The threat can be of any kind.
The Iranians are ruthless in their revenge. At this point, NATO and the USA must take special care now for the residents of Albania, for the mujahedin, for the entrances and exits at the port of Durres, the airport, the entrances from Kosovo and North Macedonia. This is a special moment for the US and security in Albania. Albania has never been more endangered by terrorism than right now”, said Haxhiu.
