Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, has informed that an Albanian mother and her 4 minor children have left the territory of Gaza.

In a post he made on social networks, he informs that they are now safe in Egypt, while the procedures are continuing for their return to Albania as soon as possible.

“After three weeks of efforts and difficulties, finally the first Albanian citizens, a mother and her 4 minor children, just left the territory of Gaza.

They are now safe in Egypt, while we follow the procedures for their return to Albania as soon as possible.

Gratitude to the authorities of Israel and Egypt for the cooperation, for the support, as well as to the colleagues of the Albanian embassies in Israel and Egypt for the good work in this situation and complex operation.

We are working closely with the authorities for the quick and safe return of other Albanian citizens who are in Gaza,” wrote Igli Hasani, the Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
