Israel willing to provide COVID-19 vaccines to Kosovo

The COVID-19 pandemic and cooperation in the health sector were the main topics of the virtual meeting held between Kosovo’s acting Minister of Health Armend Zemaj and his Israeli counterpart.

Minister Zemaj writes that the Republic of Kosovo has been blessed with the friendly people and the state of Israel.

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo, said that Israel has expressed willingness to help Kosovo and provide COVID-19 vaccines to the country.

Kosovo is the only country in Europe that has not yet received any vaccine against the virus.

Kosovo and Israel established diplomatic relations on February 1, and a few days ago the Kosovo embassy was opened in Jerusalem, sparking a lot of debate among EU member states, but not only.
