5.25% of citizens eligible to vote in North Macedonia headed to the polls at 09:00 a.m., this morning.
In this second round of votes, several issues with biometric identification have been reported, however, there have been considerably less, compared to the first round of voting.
Due to technicalities, several ballot stations in Skopje had to delay the voting process and only started operating a few hours ago.
The second round of voting is taking place today in 44 communes in North Macedonia, during which citizens will vote for their new mayors.
A total of 1.353.990 citizens are eligible to vote in 2.481 ballot stations.
