There aren’t many young writers for children’s literature in Albania and the ones that have been active in the field for a long time, are now writing less and less.

The majority of titles in children’s literature belong to foreign literature. However, parents have noticed a series of issues with children’s books, one of which is long sentences.

Oftentimes, many of them find themselves before descriptions that are too heavy for a child reader.

In any case, there have been consecutive projects aimed at inspiring and supporting young writers of children’s literature but it seems obvious that there’s still a lot to be done.
