Serbia’s Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin declared on Saturday that the army is on standby in case of de-escalation of the conflict.
But he added that the country will do anything to prevent further conflict.
“Serbia has the right to use helicopters to control every part of its territory up to the administrative border, and these are routine activities. Of course, we are more interested now in that area as we are concerned that armed people are standing in front of unarmed civilians”, declared Vulin.
“At least two people are necessary to make peace, but only a fool is enough to trigger a war, and he is currently on the other side, in Prishtina”, Vulin told local media RTV.rs.
“Serbia is not willing to negotiate if it has a gun pointed at. Serbia, led by Aleksandar Vucic, has dignity, it knows what it wants, and it knows very well what it doesn’t want. They thought President Vucic would agree to a compromise since day one only to calm the situation down, and now they don’t know what they’re doing”, added Vulin.
