On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Independence of Albania, in the Parliament of the Republic of Albania in Tirana, the joint meeting of the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo and the Parliament of the Republic of Albania has now started.
The Kosovo delegation led by Prime Minister Albin Kurti was welcomed with traditional Albanian music and dance as well as by Prime Minister Edi Rama and Speaker of Parliament Lindita Nikolla.
This is the first meeting of the two parliaments of our two countries.
The Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Lindita Nikolla, in her speech at the start of the joint meeting between the Parliaments of Albania and Kosovo, shared a message to eliminate the borders between the two countries.
“The more united the Albanian community in the region, the more stable the region will be. Albania and Kosovo, as an entity in the Balkans, must transform the borders between the two countries into informal ones. This is why both our parliaments have an important role”, said Nikola.
