Professor Blendi Kajsiu said during Euronews Albania’s NOW with Erla Mehilli that the Socialist majority is playing games in order to harm the opposition.

According to him, the majority is not interested in having an opposition in parliament but rather, in having the opposition be on the squares.

“The majority is playing its own political game with the help of the opposition. The majority does not care about the opposition in the parliament, they want it in the square, because the political protests held by the opposition are abnormal, they are absurd. In every country of the world, protests are made by civil society, not by politics, they are very rare cases. The opposition in the square can only ask for snap elections, they are not brought to power with protests, but the opposition has no interest in snap elections because they cannot win them,” said Kajsiu.
