The final certification of the parliamentary election results from February 9 could take place no later than the middle of next week.

This was stated by Eugen Cakolli from the Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI), following the rejection of all complaints submitted by political entities to the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (PZAP). These complaints either contested the election results or requested intervention in the process.

According to legal procedures, political entities have 48 hours from the receipt of the PZAP decision to file an appeal with the Supreme Court, which then has 96 hours to review and rule on these appeals, reports KosovaPress.

“Based on the current timeline, if appeals are submitted to the Supreme Court – assuming it does not deviate from the reasoning provided by PZAP – the election results could be certified no later than the middle of next week,” Cakolli wrote in a Facebook post.
