Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu was received this Friday by Kosovo’s deputy Health Minister Dafina Gexha.
The high officials said bilateral cooperation will increase through the two agreements that will be signed at the intergovernmental meeting.
The agreements are connected to offering health services near border areas, Prizren and Gjakova, as well as facilitating access to services during the tourism season for citizens on both sides of the border.
Deputy health minister Gexha praised the current relations with Albania in the health sector.
“We have ongoing collaborations that need further deepening. We have the treatment of patients with hemodialysis, and access to the University Hospital Clinical Center “Mother Teresa” in Tirana for the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
“Our health systems must further enhance cooperation in the spirit of the agreements between our two governments to sustain this integration,” she said.
