The Government of Kosovo signed a financial aid package valued at €20 million euros that will serve as a stimulus for the business, healthcare and safety sectors in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
8.5 million euros were allocated to social schemes and pensions, 6 million to businesses affected by the recent measures imposed by the executive and 5 million euros to the health and safety sectors.
Asked about the government bonuses, the minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati replied that before the health and immunization problem isn’t fully dealt with, there can’t be talks of a total opening.
In addition, the minister of Industry, Enterprise and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari said that this package was only designed based on the budget inherited by the previous administration.
