The European Parliament Rapporteur for Kosovo, Viola von Cramon, called the EU-Western Balkans Summit held in Brussels a ‘complete failure’.
According to Von Cramon, the only person that can be satisfied by the failure is Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The high-level meeting between the leaders of the Western Balkans and the EU took place in Brussels on June 23, ahead of the EU Council meeting on the state of Europe.
But the EU once again did not launch accession negotiations for Tirana and Skopje after Sofia refused to lift its veto.
In addition, Kosovo did not receive the highly anticipated removal of the visa regime.
