From October, the Government of Kosovo will increase pensions by 20%, while from January, pensions will increase by 20% for persons included in the law on war categories.

This is what the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, announced in a press conference.

“Starting from this month 2024, we will increase by 20% all pensions as follows, basic age pension, full and partial contributory pension, disability pension for children and adults, pension for blind people, pension for paraplegic and tetraplegic people, family pension, work disability pension.

From January 2025, that is, for less than 3 months, the pensions defined by the law for war categories will be increased by 20%,” he said.
