The counting of postal votes from Kosovo’s diaspora is nearing its completion. According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), this process is expected to conclude tomorrow, after which the counting of conditional votes and votes of persons with disabilities will begin.
Once these are completed and confirmed by the Election Complaints Panel and the Supreme Court, the CEC will be able to officially announce the final results for political entities and parliamentary candidates, reports KosovaPress.
As of today at 16:26, 77.54% of the ballot boxes have been counted, with 42 ballot boxes remaining. The current results show that:
Lëvizja Vetëvendosje (LVV) leads with 24,507 votes (52.15%)
Lidhja Demokratike e Kosovës (LDK) follows with 13,742 votes (29.24%)
Partia Demokratike e Kosovës (PDK) has received 4,560 votes (9.70%)
Aleanca për Ardhmërinë e Kosovës (AAK), Nisma Socialdemokrate, Konservatorët, and Intelektualët have collectively gained 1,438 votes (3.06%).
The final results will be officially announced once all votes have been counted and validated by the relevant institutions.
