Kosovo is set to present new pandemic measures, which include reducing curfew from 12 AM to 5 AM and have bars and restaurants stay open until 11 PM, sources confirmed for Euronews Albania. Masks will still be mandatory in all public spaces.
Tents were set up on Friday at Pristina’s main square to push the vaccination drive without citizens having to queue to get the jab.
Acting Health minister Dafina Gexha-Bunjaku visited the new vaccination center from where she confirmed that similar tents will be set up in other cities as well.
Gexha-Bunjaku called on citizens to get vaccinated as the best way “to defeat the pandemic”.
Also, the minister announced that the government is planning to review the current pandemic-related measures, however noting that there won’t be any “significant changes”, despite decreasing COVID-19 figures.
Referring to data from the Ministry of Health, over 691,000 citizens have been fully jabbed.
