The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, reacted after the statement of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, who said that he will request KFOR to send members of the Serbian army and police to Kosovo.

Through a post on social networks, Kurti emphasized that Kosovo does not seek conflict, but will defend itself with strength and determination.

Kurti described Vucic’s statement as a threat of military aggression.

“The president and the prime minister of Serbia have also threatened military aggression, demanding that the Serbian army return to our territory. We do not seek conflict, but dialogue and peace. But let me be clear: the Republic of Kosovo will be defended – with strength and determination,” Kurti wrote on Twitter, among other things.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said that he will turn to KFOR with a request for permission to send Serbian military and police troops to Kosovo.

During a media conference in Belgrade, Vucic announced that the government’s decision will be made on Monday or Tuesday.
