On the occasion of Kurban Bajram, Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës, and All Albania, His Beatitude Joan, paid congratulatory visits this Friday to the headquarters of the Muslim Community of Albania and the World Bektashi Headquarters.

His Beatitude was first received by the head of the Muslim Community, Mr. Bujar Spahiu, and later by the World Leader of the Bektashi, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj.

During his greetings, Archbishop Joan emphasized the importance of interfaith coexistence and harmony in Albania.

“We are always together, both in times of joy and in all hardships. Religious harmony is a great treasure for our country, one we must always protect, to show that it is possible to live together, even when we have different beliefs,” he said.
