After the meeting with Gabriel Escobar, the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, invited the opposition leaders to a meeting on Friday.

The news has been confirmed for Euronews Albania by the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK).

Lulezim Blaka, Director of Information at AAK, has announced that the leader of this party, the former prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj will participate in the meeting.

The two other opposition leaders, Memli Krasniqi of the PDK and Lumir Abdixhiku of the LDK, have not yet confirmed such an invitation or their participation.

However, these two politicians have also received an invitation to this meeting. The format of the meeting is still unknown, whether Kurti will meet them separately or in a joint format.

Today, Kurti held a meeting the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the United States of America for European and Eurasian affairs and at the same time the special envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar.

After the meeting, Escobar reiterated the United States’ support for Kosovo in its Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
