The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has expressed his condolences on the passing of Haxhi Thaçi, the father of former President and former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi.

Through a letter of condolence, on behalf of the Government of Kosovo and himself personally, he extended his sincere sympathies to the Thaçi family and their loved ones.

In the letter, the Prime Minister of Kosovo emphasized that Haxhi Thaçi will always be remembered for his wisdom, respect for others, and deep love for his homeland. He also expressed his support and solidarity with the family and friends of the deceased.

“On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and myself, I extend my sincerest condolences to you, the well-wishers of your family, and the friends of former President Hashim Thaçi,” reads the letter of condolence sent by Prime Minister Kurti.
