Kosovo Prime Albin Kurti declared on Saturday that crimes committed by Serbia should never be forgotten as he urged to continue seeking justice, reported local media KosovaPress.

His statement came from his address at the Balkan Leadership Conference themed “Peace, Security, and Development in the Western Balkans ” being held in Prishtina and organized by the Universal Peace Federation.

Kurti also called on Serbia to apologize for its crimes.

Reconciliation, Kurti said, can only come after Serbia admits to its crimes during the war in Kosovo.

“Things would have taken another turn if the political and military-police chief of Belgrade had not imposed an aggressive and genocidal policy towards Albanians”, Kurti said.

“As a result, Serbia continued to commit crimes that harmed both peoples and caused the tragedy and humanitarian catastrophe that we must never forget but seek justice and a pardon, in order to achieve reconciliation”.
