The upcoming meeting between Prishtina and Belgrade officials over a dispute on license plates will take place on May 13, declared EU Special Envoy for the Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak.
I am glad to announce that after my consultations with the two Chief negotiators yesterday and today, we agreed to continue our discussions on finding a permanent solution for the licence plates issue in Brussels on 13 May.

The initial agreement brokered in Brussels expired on April 21.
Kosovo-Serbia delegations have failed to reach a permanent deal on license plates in recent meetings.
Meanwhile, border crossings connecting the two countries are still implementing an old agreement, known as the sticker regime.
Accordingly, vehicles have to place a sticker to cover their national symbols on their respective license plates, every time they cross the border.
