Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting this Sunday with Albanians in Athens, where he emphasized that the law of war between the two countries must be abolished.
He described this law as absurd and added that the Albanian government will work to open a new era of strategic partnership with Greece.
In his speech, Rama also accused the opposition, stressing that it has interfered in this matter, further complicating and confusing it instead of resolving it.
“The law of war is absurd. Our insistence is that this law be removed, and the remaining issues be addressed—issues that have been unjustly entangled by politics. The owls have created chaos and stirred up conflict. We will succeed, and in cooperation with our friends in Greece, we will open a new era of strategic partnership between our countries,” Rama said.
