Leaders of 6 countries of the Western Balkans will be gathering in Brussels this Tuesday for what is now a traditional dinner organized by the Chief of Diplomacy in the EU, Josep Borrell.
However, compared to the meeting one day ago in Brdo, Slovenia, the Brussels meeting will mainly include Prime Minsters of countries in the region, with the exception of Montenegro and Bosnia-Hercegovina.
This meeting will also include the PM of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the Albanian PM Edi Rama, PM Zoran Zaev of North Macedonia, the PM of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, the president of Montenegro Milo Đukanović, and the leader of the three-member body presidency of Bosnia-Hecegovina, Milorad Dodik.
This meeting will serve for the organization of an “open” discussion regarding the recent developments in the region, the enlargement process, the geo-strategic matters and the strengthening of regional cooperation as well as the rapport amongst the region and the EU.
