In addition to the issue of the seal and logo of the party, another issue has been filed by Berisha’s DP in the Court.

Euronews Albania journalist Ardit Hoxha, explained that the request filed in the Court by Edith Harxhi for the de-registration of Lulzim Basha from the register of parties as the head of the Democratic Party, could put the latter in a legal collapse.

“The issue raised by Harxhi, which was decided on March 1, and which demands that Basha no longer be recognized as the leader of the DP, makes use of the fact that everyone knows that Basha is no longer the chair of the DP after his resignation. Based on this legal artifice, Harxhi has requested from the court that Basha be legally removed from the register of parties as party chairman. If that happens, we will be in for a legal collapse. If the court automatically deletes Basha’s name from the DP register, the question that arises is: who will register the DP in the May 14 elections?” explained journalist Hoxha.
