Little Red Riding Hood, a fairy tale for adults, is the title of the new book by the writer Ag Apolloni.

He said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the classic fairy tale is a prologue to history, while afterward, it is about a love story.

“We have also made an attempt to write a narrative about war rapes in Kosovo, so the figure of the wolf according to interpreters and psycho-analysts is connected with the figure of a rapist and then the connection with history is made, with the year 98-99” in Kosovo,’ Apolloni said.

The writer said that there are two main themes that are treated in his book, that of pure love and the theme of rape.

Apolloni said that there are about 20,000 women who were raped during the war in Kosovo, and he himself initially wanted to write a personal story of one of them, but it was impossible to provide enough materials.
