Flamur Noka, Belind Kellici and other members of the Refoundation Commission headed on Saturday to the headquarters of the Democratic Party.
Noka said that the main objective is to ‘reunite Democrats’, and ‘topple the regime imposed by Rama’.
He also added that the political party will return to normal and that ‘it will stay open for all Democrats’.
Asked whether there will still be a place for Lulzim Basha, Noka responded that the party is open to all citizens.
“The Democratic Party has room for all the free citizens of this country that refuses and is against this regime […] This political force is open to all, for Lulzim Basha who will be one of our colleagues”, he said.
The Democrat MP said that the Parliamentary Group will convene next week.
On Monday, the Court of Tirana sided with the Refoundation Commission in acknowledging statute amendments voted at the National Assembly convened by Berisha.
