Only 14% of eligible voters have turned up at the polls in Bujanoc this Sunday to exercise their voting rights in Serbia’s general and presidential elections.
Authorities reported that the process has been going well so far.
The deputy head of the Central Election Commission in Bujanoc told KosovaPress that they are satisfied with the way how the process has been handled.
“We’re happy with the process so far, everything has gone well, but the voter turnout has been very low, around 14% until 2 PM”, said Refik Shemsedini
Albanian parties in Presevo Valley are competing separately with Shaip Kamberi’s United Albanians Coalition and Shqiprim Arifi’s Albanian Democratic Alternative. In total 20 Albanian candidates are eyeing to secure a seat in the Serbian parliament.
