In an interview for Euronews Albania, Mayor Erion Veliaj said he has temporarily put aside a row with the President of the Albanian Football Association Armand Duka.

The two were seen side by side during the arrival ceremony of the trophy to be awarded to the winner of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Veliaj reiterated that he intends to pursue his battle, referring to criticism in the address of Duka and his management of the Albanian Football Club.

“Tirana stands above all other debates. Every debate can wait for tomorrow. I can guarantee that I will not hesitate to pursue my battles. I had my battle in Tirana, and I won”, Veliaj said.
