On Tuesday, Albanian President Ilir Meta met with the former US envoy to the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue Richard Grenell.
President Meta expressed his appreciation for the support shown by Grenell on “strengthening the relation and collaboration between Albania and the United States”.

The US diplomat has been quite active and involved in the recent developments taking place in Albania, including the public designation of Albanian former premier Sali Berisha,
Grenell criticized the US Secretary of State and accused him of using his post for the interests of George Soros in the Western Balkans.
