The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, declared that the voice of the citizens is more powerful than anything.
He called on the government not to provoke the protesters as everything was started with the aim of a peaceful and democratic rally.
Meanwhile, earlier the head of the Democratic Party did not rule out any possible scenarios.
On the way from the party’s headquarters to the opposition protest in front of the Prime Minister’s office, Meta told the media that 10 years have been enough to understand that whoever sleeps in democracy wakes up in a dictatorship.
“We are here to join the parents of the children whose kindergartens and schools were closed by the blackmail and we call on all those who follow us and have not yet arrived at the square to come out and put an end once and for all to this soulless regime,” said Meta.
