The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, received the ambassador of Serbia in Tirana, Slobodan Vukcević, in his office.
Through a post on social media, Meta said that during the meeting, he underlined the need to respect the full rights of Albanians in Medvegja, Bujanovc and Preshevo.
Meta also emphasized the commitment of the Freedom Party for institutional and concrete cooperation relations of mutual interest, between Albania and Serbia, as well as within the framework of regional cooperation and European integration.
Among other things, the former president expressed that he supports the dialogue mediated by the European Union, between Kosovo and Serbia, for the normalization of relations and mutual recognition between the two states.
