MP Monika Kryemadhi told Euronews Albania that the e-mail that circulated in the press today about Ilir Meta was done with the aim of drawing attention to the news of the release of the former Socialist MP Alqo Bllako.
“Alqi Blalko came out, they’re trying to attract attention and take it away Alqi Bllako was released”, said Kryemadhi as he entered the premises of the Freedom Party.
At noon on Thursday, an e-mail circulated in the press claiming that the European Socialist Party has banned Ilir Meta from participating in the Congress that is expected to take place in Berlin in mid-October.
The reaction of the Freedom Party was immediate, underlining that nothing of the sort is true.
The Freedom Party claimed that Meta had neither asked to be invited somewhere in Berlin nor requested an invitation.
