The chief of the government committee on Missing People, Andin Hoti, said on Wednesday that they are working hard at the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue table over this issue.
“We have requested and insisted on the EU to treat the missing people issue in a humanitarian way, and not like Serbia has treated it so far, which is political”, said Hoti.
He said to have sought guarantees from the EU to increase pressure on Serbia but admitted that they are far from this objective.
Hoti added that Serbia has requested to publish both classified and non-classified documentation from the war.
Hoti also informed that authorities began searching for a new location, and have information about other locations, that will be released to the public as soon as the process begins.
According to him, partner countries helped find previous locations, meanwhile now they’re waiting for other satellite images.
