Businessman Mohamed Al Alabbar spoke about the connections with the Port of Durrës because he has invested in this project.

While he was talking at the International Tourism Convention, co-organized for the first time in the Balkans with the World Tourism Organization, he said that the people in Albania are amazing.

Among other things, he promised to make the Port of Durrës better than Monaco.

“I come from the Middle East and the way we think is different. Our coastline is only 7-10 kilometers and not 460 kilometers as it is in Albania. When I saw Albania I said that this is the key to everything, finding an environment of kind people. I made a comparison between Albania and Italy. I also saw the housing figures. I bet myself, I have seen all the courtesies of politicians and governors. When we started working in Dubai, for 5 years people didn’t trust us, only bad news came out, but we remained persistent and look how Dubai is today. We contributed to this real estate for our neighbors. In Albania I saw the mountains, the valleys that are the beauty of Albania and people are amazing.

I have been wandering the streets of Tirana and Përmet for four years, I see nothing but smiling faces. Leave the past behind. We will make the project better than Monaco. It is our duty to develop this project in the best possible way,” he said.
