MPs representing Shkodra at the new legislative branch

The Democratic Party won Shkodra with a 43,79% share of the vote or nearly 17.000 more popular votes than the Socialist Party (28,1%).

The Social Democratic Party (15,23%) received 6.000 more votes than the Socialist Movement for Integration (9,37%) and secured two seats in parliament – click here to see the results on our interactive map.

The eleven seats allocated to the district of Shkodra are to be distributed as follows:

Although he was the most voted from the ranks of the Democrats, Bardh Spahia did not pass the necessary threshold, a quotient of 9.400 popular votes, in order to secure a term.

Similarly, from the Socialist side the party’s political representative in the district, Ilir Beqaj, did not pass the threshold, so the winning MPs will be appointed according to the primary list.

Tom Doshi, the most-voted candidate in the Shkodra, stepped down just one day ahead of election results accordingly, the third candidate on his party’s list, Meri Markiçi, is expected to replace him.
