Four of the six persons wanted for the murder of Albanian businessman, Ardian Nikulaj in Shëngjin, have been caught.

Edmond Haxhia, Stephen Hunt, Thomas Mithan and Harriet Bridgeman were arrested during an operation of the National Crime Agency in the United Kingdom.

Sources for Euronews Albania confirm that the British police managed to locate them by tracking their cellphones. The arrested persons were in close distance to each-other.

Extradition procedures from Britain to Albania should follow up, so that they can face charges.

The Interior Minister of Albania, Bledi Çuçi welcomed the news. He said this is a sign of the good collaboration between Albanian and British authorities.

Edmond Haxhia, with double citizenship, is related to the Lekstakaj family, involved in a blood feud with the Nikulaj family. He is the person who ordered the murder.

Meanwhile, Stephen Hunt, Harriet Bridgeman and Thomas Mithan are British citizens. Police are still looking for two other people involved in the conflict, among them, Portuguese citizen Ruben Saraiva who committed the murder. The three persons are thought to be in Greece.

There are strong doubts that Saraiva left on feet towards Greece, after committing the murder.

The motive behind the murder of Ardian Nikulaj, results to be a blood feud. The 51-year-old was executed in his business premises in Shëngjin, on April 19th.
