Police raided 4 apartments and questioned 6 persons related to the death of Kenyan citizen, Joy Ayoko.
It has been 9 months that the police and prosecutor have been in action, to uncover the mystery behind the death of the 22-year-old girl, who worked in a casino in Albania.
One of the persons questioned by police is the driver of the casino, as well as his brother.
Joy Ayoko was found in a brutally beaten state, fallen from the third floor of her rented apartment in Tirana, in August of last year.
She was admitted to the Trauma hospital. Joy managed to overcome her wounds at first, but a brain damage left her in a vegetative state. The young girl passed away 6 months later.
Her death remains a mystery, and the driver of the casino is the last person known to have met with her before she passed away.
Joy’s mother has appealed for the truth of her daughter’s death to be uncovered, but police has yet to come with an official count as to what exactly happened.
