Nearly 1/3 of Albania (32.7%) of citizens in Albania are convinced that they don’t want to get their anti-COVID vaccines, whereas 25.9% believed they wouldn’t be getting their vaccine in the near future.
22.8% of respondents in the poll conducted by Euronews Albania and MRB, weren’t sure whether or not they wanted to get their anti-COVID vaccine.
Only 18.6% of Albanians said they were sure about wanting to get vaccinated.
These results were provided by the poll conducted by Euronews Albania’s weekly Barometer in collaboration with the surveying agency, MRB which included face-to-face interviews with 1000 citizens from rural and urban areas, over the age of 18.
Safety concerns and lack of trust, seem to be the main reasons that have been swaying Albanians to steer clear of the anti-COVID vaccine. (48% of respondents)
Another reason shared amongst those that haven’t been vaccinated is uncertainty and mistrust in the efficacy of the vaccine (29.7%).

To date, 43.7% of Albanians have received at least one dose. The majority of the 56% of Albanians that haven’t been vaccinated, belong to the age group of 18-24 years old.
