Analyst Plator Nesturi called Kosovo’s refusal to join the Open Balkan initiative a form of close-mindedness.
During his appearance on Euronews Albania’s NOW, Nesturi suggested that Kosovo should support an active form of politics so that it can protect not only its own interests but also its citizens’ interests, who according to the analyst, are more isolated than ever due to their government’s wrong policies.
“I don’t see Kosovo producing any other policy, or any other initiative, it remains the most isolated country in Europe, and it’s not really its fault but it also kind of is. They need to start following an active policy that not only defends the country’s interests but its people’s interests too. We have a young generation that is more isolated then their own parents who traveled around visa-free. Being this focused on saying no to everything being suggested by Albania, when all your agreements are coming from Albania, according to me is a form of close-mindedness.” said Nesturi.
