Endri Shabani, chairman of Nisma Thurje, announced that they will be part of the race in the local elections set to take place on May 14, the date decreed by the president a few days ago.
He brought to attention how Tirana has been transformed and is no longer recognizable.
“We do not intend to wait any longer. 32 years is plenty,” said Shabani.
The head of “Thurje” also added that the capital has become unlivable for the generation and that the addition of more and more buildings does not serve anyone.
According to him, there is no longer a choice between left and right.
“Since you have the cameras here, I invite you to see if you can find the first tram that was built by Berisha in 2011, see if you can also find the second tram that was built by Rama in 2015. In 30 years, only 3D virtual reality has been offered to us,” said Shabani.
In the upcoming local elections, an agreement has been signed so far between the Democratic Party and the Freedom Party for a common candidate in the race for the local government.
