“The United States will continue to strongly support the justice reform”, said on Friday US Ambassador Yuri Kim after meeting with SPAK chief, Arben Kraja.

The Ambassador also commended prosecutors for their work, after the recent arrests of high-level officials allegedly involved in corruptive affairs.

Ambassador Kim reiterated her stance on ending impunity in Albania and holding corrupted officials accountable before justice, as a means to strengthen the rule of law.
Kim recalled that this path is in line with criteria set out by the European Union and responds to the people’s quest for justice in the country.
