As of 11 AM, there were still three active blazes in North Macedonia, crises management authorities confirmed.
The active fires were reported in the municipality of Saraj near Skopje and in the villages Bukovik and Rahovic, while flames are now also heading towards Jasen.
In addition, there were other fires reported in Petrovec and in the village of Divje.
Meanwhile, a fire in the Prilep has been put under control although there are still threats that it might reach a nearby village.
On August 5, North Macedonia declared a state of emergency to stay in place for 30 days due to the wildfires.
