December 11 and 18 are underway to become two key dates that will set the fate of the Democratic Party.
Sali Berisha on one side, and the official Democratic Party on the other, have started their own separate preparations for the two Assemblies.
So far, the side which favors holding the Assembly on the 11th, have guaranteed to have gathered all the required signature, which is one-fourth of the total number of delegates. After identifying the 2,500 delegates who signed in favor, the latter will have to be verified ahead of the Assembly, although there’s still some ambiguity over how the process will be carried out.
Also, the location that will bring Democrats together on December 11 is still unknown. Unofficial reports claim that it will take place at the Palace of Congresses, but there are also rumors that it could be held at Air Albania stadium.
On the other hand, December 18, the date set forth from the presidency of the Democratic Party is continuing to collect forms after being completed by delegates on all branches. In regards to this date, there are fewer dilemmas on its organization as it is following the same procedures as past assemblies organized by the Democratic Party.
