Freedom Party MP Monika Kryemadhi revealed Euronews Albania’s “Now with Erla Mëhillin” what is expected to happen in the November 12 protest.
According to her, with the current economic situation and so few people left in Albania, it is a great victory to hear people saying “Yes, I will go out in protest”.
“I say that this day, November 12, will not bring another industrial revolution that will magically overturn the system, but I think it shows the large public awareness, which is important not only for general opinion but also for the purpose of unifying the common thoughts that in some way the whole opposition has,” said Kryemadhi.
The MP also stated that she has noticed an integration of the ‘grey area’ of voters in the opposition’s protests, which includes those citizens who expect the opposition not to betray them, who are tired of the current government, and who are not regular militans that are clearly never absent in our gatherings. Whether we like it or not, one of our mistakes was the ‘burning’ and relinquishing of our parliamentary mandates, at which point we unintentionally gave Edi Rama all the weapons he had been waiting for and which failed us and didn’t allow the opposition to fight as a whole and until the end,” – said Kryemadhi.
