Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti called for the support of Greece in lifting a visa regime.
Kosovar citizens are required to apply for a visa if they want to travel to Europe.
In a meeting with Greece’s Kyriakos Mitsotakis ahead of the Munich Security Conference, the heads of state reiterated that visa liberalization would defend the EU’s credibility among the people of Kosovo.

In addition, they maintained that this should be kept as a separate process, implying that talks with Serbia should not be tied to this matter.
In a press release, Osmani and Kurti emphasized that Kosovo has an ‘unwavering Euro-Atlantic orientation’ and their objective to join NATO and the UN.
