Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani hosted on Tuesday a meeting with the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Pristina Carin Lobbezoo.
Among the themes discussed was the general situation in the country, pandemic management, and efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation.
According to the official press release from the President’s office, Osmani reiterated that Kosovo has fulfilled all the criteria required to lift the visa regime, adding that it is now time for the EU to deliver on its promises.
Regional development and integration were some of the other topics discussed during the meeting.
President Osmani and Dutch ambassador Loobezo also discussed bilateral political and economic cooperation.
Osmani commended the country’s progress in various areas, including in the rule of law and creating a favorable environment for foreign investors.
At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Loobezo handed to President Osmani a congratulatory telegram from the King of the Netherlands, Willem-Alexander R, on the occasion of Kosovo’s 14th independence anniversary.
