The president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani has met with the deputy Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland, deputy Secretary of State for European Affairs, Karen Donfried as well as other officials of the US State Department.
The deputy secretary of state said that one of the most important focuses of the meeting was the normalization of Kosovo-Serbia relations.
“Pleased to welcome Kosovo President, Vjosa Osmani to discuss a wide range of shared priorities, including rule of law, energy, and normalization of relations with Serbia. The United States thanks Kosovo for its early and generous support to temporarily host relocated Afghans,” – wrote Nuland on her Twitter post.
President Osmani has met with the executive director of the Millennium Challenges Corporation – a meeting which comes after the refusal of the Kosovo government regarding the Gas Pipeline Project.
